Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: A Leap Forward in Design and Functionality
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been making waves in the tech world, and it’s easy to see why. With its sleek design, stunning display, and powerful features, it’s a worthy upgrade from its predecessor, the S23 Ultra. Here’s a closer look at what makes the S25 Ultra stand out:
Design and Display
One of the most noticeable improvements in the S25 Ultra is its design. Samsung has moved away from the curved edges of the S23 Ultra, opting for a flat screen that not only looks modern but also makes it easier to apply a screen protector. The larger 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is a visual treat, offering vibrant colors and sharp details that make every viewing experience enjoyable. Also did I mentioned that it has anti-glare technology? That’s right and it makes a HUGE difference especially outdoors.
Battery Life
Battery life has always been a crucial factor for smartphone users, and the S25 Ultra doesn’t disappoint. Despite retaining the same 5,000 mAh battery as the S23 Ultra, the S25 Ultra boasts improved efficiency thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This results in a longer battery life, making it perfect for those who use their phones extensively throughout the day. Mine personally lasts all day with normal/heavy use, ending the day at an average of 19%!
S Pen: A Mixed Bag
The S Pen has been a staple of Samsung’s Note and Ultra series, and the S25 Ultra continues to include it. However, there’s a notable change this time around: the S Pen no longer has Bluetooth functionality. Bummer! While some users, like myself, may not miss this feature, others might find it a downgrade. Personally, I traded in my S23 Ultra for the S25 Ultra and haven’t felt the absence of Bluetooth as much as I thought I would.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a solid upgrade from the S23 Ultra. The larger, flat display, improved battery life, and refined design make it a compelling choice for anyone looking to upgrade their smartphone. While the removal of Bluetooth from the S Pen might be a downside for some, the overall improvements outweigh this change for me.
